Utilities / FREE ONLINE TOOL
Expression Calculator
Calculate math expressions online and convert results to decimal, hexadecimal, octal, binary, and exponential notation. Supports scientific functions, trigonometry, logarithms, constants, degrees and radians.
Use pi, e or tau for constants. sin, cos, tan and inverse trigonometric functions use the selected angle unit. log(x) is base 10; ln(x) is natural log; log(x, base) accepts a custom base.
Supported functions and examples
sin, cos, tan, asin, acos, atan, atan2(y, x), sinh, cosh, tanh, sqrt, cbrt, abs, exp, ln, log, log10, log2, pow, floor, ceil, round, trunc, sign, min, max, hypot
Examples: sin(pi / 2) in radians; cos(60) in degrees; log(8, 2); sqrt(3^2 + 4^2); max(2, 5, -1). Separate arguments with commas and multiply explicitly with *.
